My son was priority wait listed for drama at CMU last year, so when May 1st came and went, I assumed it was a “no.” Then he received an acceptance by email, but not till around May 5th. (O Happy Day!!!) They don’t know who is going to officially commit till after the May 1 decision date. Then they can go to the priority wait list.My son received the fat letter which offered admission to some of CMU, wait list at CIT-ECE, denied SCS. I called CMU and was told there is only one wait list and to call back April 7 to find out more about the wait list. Now it sounds like some kids on this forum received a “priority” wait list letter in addition to the fat letter package.
