286 posts · Joined 2014. #9 · Jun 5, 2023. I had done some Internet research on reliably expanding defensive 9mm ammo from a 3.1" barrel. Pretty much anything that tests well from a P365 (or M&P Shield) would work for the XMacro Comp since it's the same barrel length.

There’s no difference in length on those guns, one has a shorter barrel but the built in comp makes the slides the same size, so from a conceal ability standpoint it’s a non issue. That extra .6in of barrel length isn’t going to do anything substantial for muzzle velocities so I wouldn’t use that in my decision making. The "comp" isn't very effective. We're talking about something that only gets gassed a tiny bit before the barrel blocks the comp as the slide reciprocates. You're exhanging almost an inch of barrel length to have the inherently least effective comp you could design. I think the x macro and tacops have the same finish.March 7, 2023 News Wire. I think the width makes the P320 an easier platform to shoot and the AXG module (in my carry size) a real joy. In my opinion the P320 X-Compact is the perfect size for carry and shootability.
