Door panel removal. I'm not sure if your truck is the same as an '80 but on mine there is a screw inside the finger slot in the arm rest. Remove this screw and the window crank handle. I think it took maybe 2 hours total to get the doors off, replace the speakers and put it all back together. I replaced the factory sony speakers with Alpine Type R 6x8s in all 4 doors and put polyfil in the sub box. The stereo sounds much better now.
