I really want WC to make an aluminum version of their module. It is an exceptional module and feels great in the hand. I've built two P320s using their Carry II module, full length 17 grip but flush with the 3.6" slide. The short length slide with the full length grip gives it a 1911 commander type of feel.

Also, I know ots your last resort but there is a thing called the "grip mod" where you add 1911 grip bushings and then you can use 1911 grips. Just google "22.45 grip mod" and you will get lots of step by step guides. You could also try to trade it in at the local gun shop and pick up the replacable grip model.
