The cheese spot on the roof beam still works. You can still get hit, so having rifts or other sources of healing (devour, healing nade) would be beneficial. In Esoterickk's solo clear he could just strafe left and right on the beam to avoid getting hit, but in a team of 3 there won't be room to do that.

But this week I'm having way more trouble with the Taken Knight fire grenades, like it seems they're always hitting me no matter where I am on the platform. Base DPS of Vortex frame w/ Jagged Edge (H-Light Loop-H): 18,094. Base DPS of Lament (Light Loop): 19,597. So if your FG has no damage perks and no mod, Lament's definitely better.
