Jan 16, 2010 · A Kimber is kinda like a box of cracker jacks, you never quite know what you are going to get when you open the box. I have a Kimber Pro TLE II that I had quite a bit of problems with out of the box. It eventually broke in nicely, and it continues to be my EDC. But the next 1911 will not be a Kimber.
You even said it at the end of the review… Function vs form. That Glock will run longer and better than the Kimber. No need to change the recoil spring after 800 rounds like Kimber recommends for its pistol. Don’t get me wrong, the Kimber looks great, but considering cost, fire power and reliability, Glock wins hands down.
