No fiddling with folders – it knows where to find a standard FFXIV install. It gives you the option to install the presets, but I don’t see why you wouldn’t. This was so much simpler than having to download the presets yourself and find proper folders to put them in for use.

Problem is that I can't seem to remove the read-only properties of that folder (I've really tried) so I get no cool screenies with awesome effects. In the Steam interface go to "View" then click on "Screenshots". On the "Show" drop down select FFXIV and then on the bottom click "Show on Disc" and it will pull it up in the File Explorer. If you're talking about the screenshots taken by the Steam overlay, it's in your user data forlder in the Steam directory.The color that the game/software thinks, may not match what the drivers think, and what the monitor is configured to display. So you could have the artist configure it as light purple but between the driver and monitor, you could have dark red show up instead. edit: try right clicking FFXIV in steam, click "Properties", then go to the "Local Files" tab, and select "Move Install Folder". No Idea what you are looking at.
