You must have 5 cards active at all times to be able to draw from them. If you have 6 active then this might be preventing you from drawing - I haven't tested this theory just guessing. Also possible you don't actually have 5 cards active and this will definitely prevent you from drawing. Active cards are lit up with a fire.
