I open like 5-10 of the green chests, click on the stars in there and merge up to the max level star, then bubble the max stars for events. You get quite a few chests that way, but it's mostly lower levels so I usually only get a few more chests out of it. I've also been buying all of the dim jars for the max chest.
Maywood 11 costs 5 chalices but it has 4 mystery nests under the cloud.
