The carrier may gain mail or parcel volume or another parcel pick up and gain time or the opposite may occur. That's the very nature of an evaluated system. Over the past year, my route has been steadily going up due to new territory. Out of approximately 428 new homes, just over half are built.Though I will add when I first started at the PO we had med to heavy mail volume and maybe 30 parcels a day (half a hamper and a few tubs of spurs). Our routes are basically the same now (a 42 might be a 43,44 now). Last mail count 4-5 years ago some routes went down with med mail volume and triple or more parcel numbers.
