I don't get it either. The in-game guide is good enough until you need to start accumulating wealth to get end game gear, and there is a ton of endgame guides on youtube for end game gear. Those guides may not be 100% up to date, but you just need to ask your friends in game what the current bis gear is available.

To answer your comment about total boss damage: about 200%~225% boss is sufficient. You should try to get as much % ATT as you can. As for Inner Ability, 20% boss is decent. You should try to aim for +15, +18 or +21 ATT second or third line. 10%~20% Crit rate is also nice to have for bossing.Boss party requirements: These will be the minimum requirements for most classes to join parties. Some easier to obtain level 150 transfer fodder is the Commerci equips you get from completing the Commerci quest line (takes maybe 30 minutes). It gives you weapon, shoulder, gloves, boots, overall, hat, and cape, which you can use to make the jump to absolab gear. EDIT: I wouldn’t recommend these equips for damage, only for transfer fodder.
