Comparable to what's already posted I'm about halfway through my first 8 lbs jug of Clay Dot alternating between 1 oz and 7/8 oz loads using Remington hulls, Nobel primers, and Claybuster wads (specifically CB1100-12, CB0178 and CB4100). I'm averaging drops of 18.2 grains using a MEC 32 bushing.

They cause very little trouble for my reloading. The 7/8 windjammer wads I have patterned. I did an experiment with 7/8 @ 1200 with the CB4100-12B vs the CB0178-12. I don't remember the specifics, but I do remember the CB-0178 (4-petal) has the hot core that is often talked about with 7/8 sub-1250 loads in the 12 gauge.

This is the Winchester 12SL copy. I see better uniformity in the patterns and more consistent crimps with good old Red Dot than with the CB0178-12L. WAGinVA, The CB6100-12 will work BUT it is longer and larger in diameter than the wad you want which is the CB1100-12.
