The issue is that the way the npcs work now doesn’t support blaster fire like it used to. I’m pretty sure the mod creator could try to rebuild it from the ground up, but that would be a monumental task, so I believe he is instead waiting for the game to fix the aspect of npcs that broke blaster fire.
