Most likely your engine was made in 2012, probably has the older DPF, needs a new DPF and several ECM changes which have been made to enhance the DPF life. The newer DPF is less restrictive. The possibilities are endless. International once had a great rep for service, the Maxxforce series changed that for certain.The guys at Brattains IH said Nstar is still making the 9.3L engines with SCR after treatment , said the new engines are called N9&10.
