I dont know how I can send you pics, but my LMT Mars H lower came with some pretty heavy machining marks by the right side safety, and my CQB 556 sized upper receiver had some gnarly marks on the opposite side of where the screws tighten the barrel. Got pics, brand new parts, full price. Do they affect function, not at all!
