You seem to be one of the few people who feel that the Sorento is build very poorly. Consumer Report, Powers and many other testing outfits are of the opposite opinion, so are most owners. If your shop was not able to find a water leak, it is the shop that has problems, not the vehicle.

I removed everything and changed the water pump, timing belt, tensioner and pully (1st timing belt job. Made easy by this forum (Thanks). I used RTV sealant on the water pump gasket.
