I have a 2014 Patriot that I bought used and I've had it for close to 3 years and haven't needed to replace the throttle body, throttle actuator, etc. Yesterday night I drove to the grocery store just fine, then not even an hour later after finishing up, I feel my car jolting in the parking lot and see the red bolt flashing with traction control on and my check engine light.
