The last time I saw the DEF gauge, it said 24%, before the warning popped up (it really sucks that you can't use the DIC at all while the warning is active). So I added a box of DEF to attempt to dilute ... Then tcm then remove the appropriate fuses. Take a drive. If no messages display then move onto the hardware aka exhaust system. If you have messages you may have to replace the hardware clear all codes then start from scratch. Ouch, if I hook up all connectors with no exhaust thats gonna be a pain. If the filter is damaged and needs to be replaced, the parts can cost as much as $2000 to $5000 dollars.. A complete DEF is expensive and complex.
