Recommending Achilles to a self-titled noob isn't a great choice IMO. I defeated Hades on 16 heat with every weapon and still couldn't learn Achilles aspect properly. It would require a lot of practice for OP as well, I assume. The almost ridiculous Zag-spear and hope for Flurry Jab, or how it's called, is the easy-cheesy way, for me.

Knockback bonuses and rupture. Had a Zeus boon for god gauge and Artemis on call, and was able to use the full god gauge power three times during the Hades fight.
Guan Yu: On Hades spear, Athena's attack is good. On Guan Yu, I think it's mandatory unless you're doing a special-only cheese build, in which case I suggest that you pick a bow instead. Hades Aspect is overall the best and least intrusive Weapon Aspect. Achilles Aspect is hard to play but makes for very strong cast builds if the stars align.
