Ninjatrader and Tradovate are two complete different systems. Let me explain NInjatrader is a locally runned program. Meaning it runs on your computer, where as tradovate is a web based application so it runs on the web. The one thing that ninjatrader has over tradovate is that it allows you to pretty much connect to any broker of your choice. The easiest way to do this is through the platform directly (under Help > Email Support). As this includes the log & trace files, we can then best assist you further. I made the decision to migrate from TradeStation to Tradovate today, actually. The reasons were 1- although with TS. I’m currently paying mower commission fees their support is horrendous. They don’t have live chat, no email. The only option is “you can call us and that’s the only thing we offer” that’s too much for me to swallow.
