I got a letter in the mail saying that I have been nominated to join the Rutgers chapter of the national society of collegiate scholars. The letter had the names and emails of the executive board of the rutgers chapter. It said I was nominated due to my academic success at Rutgers. All it says I have to do is pay a one time $92 fee or something ...National Society of Collegiate Scholars only requires a 3.4 college GPA. NSCS don't base their membership on high school grades at all. National Society of Collegiate Scholars is not prestigious, no. It's not a bad thing, but not revered either. It's "only" a 3.4 GPA to qualify.<p>OK well you can feel skeptical if you so choose, but don't sit here and badmouth an organization that many people have benefited from just because your belief is that its a scam, if you want to believe that fine, but keep it to yourself.
