I don't know about the torque though. Alot of guys are usin this trans in high hp LSx builds. It does cost a few bills to get it right, but so does a lot of things.

The 4L80E needs very little to handle 600-700 HP. A 34 element sprag (stock on later models) and some hydraulic modifications, heavier intermediate snap ring, assembly tricks is about all it needs. All the same mods you do to the TH400, you do to the 4L80E.
