Core shifter nv3500.
Just discovered the shifter in my '04 looks like this; The dealer can't get a new one. I've tried several aftermarket sources and they can't even tell an NV3500 from an NV4500. I really want the Core/Hurst short-throw shifter, but it's out of stock until whenever. I need something to get me back on the road, this is my daily.
The NV 3500's all came behind one piece rear main seal engine's. The one's I've messed with all had the standard 1-1/8" x 10 spline input shaft. Looking at just the shift tower, it might be possible that a 96-97 will work as well. This is a NV3500 from a 94 S10. This is a NV3500 from a 97 s10.

I am factory nv3500.. it sounds like a supercharger. very confident with the core shifter. in no big rush, but have a chance to swap to nv4500. I have questions about sensors, and different driveshaft lengths for different years. I cannot seem to get through the new venture riddle on thisone.
