I got the affinity and have zero regrets. I got the walnut version for about $600 on gunbroker where the M2 was significantly more without offering much benefit for my use. Mar 23, 2021 · The franchi is a clone to the benelli m2 field. With the shim kits that come with both shotguns fit the gun to the user has never been more versatile. I personally would go with the franchi, both guns will get the job done. But the franchi to me feels like a better fit for me.

The Benelli barrels will not fit the Franchi, location of the lug/recoil spring and the fact the Benelli barrel will probably set you back $500 makes this unfeasible and unrealistic. Winchester SX3 20ga had a full synthetic version at one time.

So, I suspect with your choices, you have researched price points and are in this $799 (Beretta) - $1299 (Benelli) range with the Retay, somewhere in the middle at about $1000. I will disclose, I shoot a Beretta 391 and a Retay Masai Mara in 20g. The A300 is a great gun low recoil, low price. Weatherby is light and gas. A 20ga. can certainly kill ducks. Like. For 200-300 more than a Stoeger and ~400 less than an M2, you get most of the Benelli quality and better parts compatibility with the M2 to boot. It is hard to call a $1400 or so plastic-stocked camo shotgun a bargain. Nevertheless, the Benelli M2 camo ComforTech 20 gauge 24 inch is a personal favorite. It wasn't simply perfect by any means. I intentionally broke off the center bead and threw it away, so the front bead could actually be seen.

Speaking of stocks, the Affinity has a somewhat oddly shaped proprietary recoil pad that is not terribly easy to replace should that become an issue for you. Best way to think of it is a M3000 made actually by Benelli. I was able to buy my Franchi Affinity off of Gunbroker for $630 dollars shipped. So it was a little bit more than a Stoeger would set you back.
