Fo4 duplication glitch.
With something like fallout, even fo4, the game is based around scurrying place to place and always having something nearby to explore. Travel itself is dangerous and can cost you resources. Having glitches/options like fast travel are left in because they don't actually take too much away from the base game, and are enticing to some players.

I was flying around inside diamond city and wondered what would happen if you flew high enough to get past the barriers that keep you from flying over the wall and out of bounds. I've been playing around with junk duplication glitch, and got tired of trying to nail it just right, so I played around with automated inputs to achieve reliable results.This "texture flicker" is objects blinking in and out of existence because you broke the games occlusion culling system using mods. The game was essentially remade not just remastered. I doubt they left the old version's glitches in. If you want the old version's glitches and have a working PS1 or PS3 then pick up Final Fantasy Chronicles. It includes FF4 and Chrono Trigger. The SNES version retains the Item dupe glitch. Not the PSP version sadly.
