Basically, the map, textures, models, etc, load WAAAAY to slow. Even the menu map takes ~3 minutes to fully load. And when I try to walk, the game keeps reloading the assets (I even managed to find some out-of-bounds stuff like dev textures lol).

skychbobber. • 6 mo. ago. I've tested on both SSD (NVME Gen4) and a 7200RPM HDD (toshiba gaming performance) and my average loading is: NVME Gen4 SSD: 14-15 seconds. 7200RPM HDD: 17-19 seconds. So it's about 24% longer for me on HDD vs SSD. I enabled the slow HDD mode and have a very strong computer with plenty of VRAM/RAM tho. There's a "Slow HDD" toggle that seems more like a placebo than anything, and it turns itself off sometimes when you restart the game. But it *says* it can offset some of the loading by using extra RAM/VRAM. I just personally don't notice much of a difference, but otherwise playing on an HDD is just fine. 5.Jul 29, 2023 · I can't help you if you think 20 or so secs is too slow for you for loading a save game.
