The worst thing that could happen is that the bleeding could progress to a prolapse urethra. He did not have that "YET" so the vet suggested to fix him. Good morning! First time poster, here. I’ve always done and suggest 3 meals a day until probably 4-5 months old and a lot more than 1/2 - 3/4 cup per day. It’s been awhile since I’ve had a puppy but it was probably more like 1 cup per meal. As they get older and grow, then you start cutting back on the food.
