Just remember that you don't have your trusty flaregun to make an escape. Personally, i'd use Stock for the higher afterburn, but Terry used the Degreaser.

Competitive Pyro Loadout. As a platinum pyro I can confirm that this is the best loadout. Though I may suggest changing the scorch to reserve shooter, as I prefer the mini crits from the reserve shooter to the knockback from the scorch shot, and I find the scorch shot fills the Mmmph meter too fast for my liking.

Best Pyro Loadout. I have been trying to play a more pyro recently, and have been having trouble picking between two loadouts. I'm trying to decide between Degreaser+Flare Gun+Powerjack or Degreaser+Detonator+Axtinguisher. Both offer combo potential and good mobility. Degreaser + Panick Attack + Axtinguisher is what I usually use.
