It is missing the butt plate, trigger guard, a bit rusty and only seems to work on one barrel. Looking at the barrels, I found "Lefever Nitro Special" imprinted on the right barrel and "Lefever Arms Co., Ithaca, NY" on the left barrel. Its in 12 gauge instead of 16. The 16 gauge wont draw the same premium. The 12 has 2 3/4 chambers, the 16's had 2 9/16.The NID, the Lefever Nitro Special, the Lefever A-Grade and the Western Arms Long Range all used the cam cocking mechanism and are sometimes referred to as "cam guns."
