second P3AT utter garbage. first LCP - junk , wont hold a magazine in, lots of jams. second LCP- great, 1500 rounds never a jam (kept this one, still have it) third LCP - garbage, jams all the time. Watched a really good video for women on YouTube by Legally Armed America comparing the Glock 42, Colt Mustang XSP, Ruger LCP, and S&W BodyGuard 380. The Glock won out by a mile. The Colt came in a good second but the stryker-fired system feels much safer to me than carrying in the cock-and-lock position required with SAO guns.

This does reduce the difference in size between the G42 and LCP to some extent. I have seen some very nice shooting done by a female shooter with a Glock 42. She was starting to fatigue from recoil as the round count approached 50 but even those last few shots were good.

The only ammo I could get was 50 rds of HPR and 50 rds of American Eagle. Not too worries about adding a new caliber if it's for a sub compact. My Options are: Ruger LCR-X (hammer version) $375. Walther PPS 9mm (1 mag no box) $400. Glock 42 (If i can find one) $400ish.
