"I bought my John Deere 990 new in 2006. It is a no frills, gear drive tractor. It has been reliable, economical and fun to operate. In 8 years my only problem was the battery which out gassed and corroded the terminals as did a lot of the John Deere CUTS. I installed an optima battery which solved the problem.I am here to share my years of experience with you – be it repairing your mower/tractor or caring for your lawn.
