Is uworld mcat harder than aamc.

This is all I have lol. For me, Uwoooorld CARS taught me that every answers have a tangible explanation and backed up by a specific evidence in the passage. Not too sure if it’s harder or easier but at least taught me that skill. Personally I think it's a lot easier than Jack Westin. But I also think AAMC is too.

Listen: Biochem is known to be hard in UWORLD, harder even than the other parts of UWorld. UWORLD is beautiful. It is life. It is very dissimilar to what you might see on the AAMC, because it is extremely content based and trying to really hone that content knife to a point.

AAMC has also given us the opportunity to take thousands of prepared, official questions. Make sure you do them all. Other. Some students choose to buy the massive UWorld section bank instead of practice tests. UWorld has done an incredible job creating excellent questions and explanations for each answer. It seems most feel otherwise but holy shit are the AAMC questions harder than uearth. I was scoring ~85% B/B, 98% CARS, 85% P/S, and 70% C/P on uearth for 3 months and was expecting an easy transition to AAMC content since all I heard was how much easier it is, but all my scores are much much lower. The AAMC basically took the old questions that were relevant to the new MCAT and repackaged them. For those unfamiliar with the old MCAT, the test was considerably different. When they designed the new MCAT they focused their efforts on producing passages that challenged your critical thinking skills as opposed to pure recall of information.

Be warned that once you get to the last 200 questions or so, the difficulty level is very high and the topics, slightly obscure – still good practice though! UWorld on the whole can be harder than the AAMC, but that is a pro, and as a general rule of thumb you want to be scoring in the high 70s-80s percent accuracy on the questions. If the average AAMC passage is a 5/10, UWorld (for me) is a 7/10, and Picasso is a 10/10. I was scoring 129-131 in CARS (85-90% on QPacks) and got an 80% overall on UWorld. 5.So Biochem depth is UWorld>AAMC>KA. If you cover UWorld, I think you'll be good for biochem content. However, for style of questions, AAMC content is much more representative. UWorld tests a lot of content directly. I'd say 80% of the questions don't require the passage information to answer the Qs, whereas 80% of Q's for AAMC requires passage ...

Kaplan vs Uearth vs aamc. I know this has probably been answered 99x, but I’ll ask again for more personal opinions. I currently have the Kaplan books with the online material, but I don’t think it’s enough. I took the MCAT last week as an f it exam, and I think I did absolutely horrible. I thought the questions were way harder than what ...After doing AAMC material UWORLD definitely has more of a content focus but it is still a useful tool as they do have some great experimental passage analysis questions. UWorld is, on average, slightly harder than AAMC. Relative difficulty imo would look like: CARS QP1 > UWorld, FL1 > average MCAT CARS section. Keep in mind I've also done all of TPR 2016, EK101, and NS108.The first 60 questions of AAMC CARS qpack 1 are known for being notoriously difficult and not at all representative of the real exam.
