Unfortunately my ability to continue monitoring CLMRN is not looking good. After a month of setting up shop in Barkhamsted, I went back to my regular listening location, which is 4 miles from the nearest tower, only to find that the signal strength has diminished to the point where I can't even detect a P25 data stream.Don't bet too much. The system isn't designed for scanners, it is for radios specifically designed and built to work on them. Your scanner is built to monitor a wider range of frequencies in more modes and at a cheaper price. The trade off is that it doesn't work as well as the purpose built...Rebanding was done long ago in 2011. This is simply a new system with many new frequencies.
