98 mauser markings.

Someone gave me an old 98 Mauser a while back. It has no markings on it except for serial #4924 on the bolt and the receiver. The guy that gave it to me said that it was Polish from WW1. The bore was a little rough, so I found an 8mm barrel (German, I believe, although it has no markings of any kind.) that had a good bore.The rifle has been rebuilt but still retains many of its original markings. The markings on the metal are deep and including several Nazi "eagle / swastika" stampings on the receiver. This Nazi K98 shows distress from its WWII use but that adds to its history. Good luck.
